Held at China Harbor Restaurant

Gung Haggis Fat Choy is a cross-cultural Scottish/Chinese event —  I have been playing this event since it came to Seattle — and this year I am getting to introduce my recipe book!  I plan to do a give-away to to the table that wins a copy of my book … and then play bagpipes.  Always a fun night — looking forward to it!  Appearance

UPDATE –
If you haven’t been to the Coupeville Library or one of their events, it is a wonderful building that is active with frequent enriching events.  To that end … when someone like Tom or I roll in and propose a presentation it is occasionally possible to fall through the cracks.  Mid-March 2019 I went back in to check with their event organizers and we have reignited the planning to bring our self-publishing program into the Coupeville Library.

UPDATE –
While in conversation with the manager of the Langley Library, I mentioned this coming-book and the Coupeville Library’s interest in a presentation.  Langley is interested, too!

Meet-The-Author event
Hosted by Goose Community Grocery
14485 HWY 525, Langley, WA 98260

When I produced cookies Goose Grocery sold my products — it’s a great store, which explains why they would often need to be restocked mid-week.  They frequently have events, and on Saturday the 10th I will be participating in their meet-the-author event.  Goose sells books by a number of local authors, and we’re going to be there!  Come on out, talk with us about our books — I’d enjoy meeting you — and I think Goose will be having BBQ that day as well.  My friend and fellow-author Tom Trimbath might be there, too! Appearance

Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th The Kingfisher Bookstore will take to the streets during the Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival!  I plan to be there to help Meg with her tent located directly in front of her shop.  Look for me on Sunday.  I also plan to be there on Saturday when not at the meet-the-author event at Goose Grocery in Bayview.  Come see the wonderful collection of books Meg offers through her cozy shop.  I’d like to meet you too — I’ll have copies of my recipe book there, let’s talk BAKING! Appearance

Olympic Peninsula WashingtonTom Trimbath and I have held initial discussion with a party with regard to bringing our self-publishing presentation to Port Townsend.  We have also suggested the idea of booking a number of presentations around on the peninsula so that we might help reach more authors.  What do you say, Port Angeles???  If you like this idea and would like to host us, please Contact Me.

Goose is a marvelous asset to the south end of Whidbey Island!  Their community involvement is a pillar of the local culture.  On September 7th they are holding a 10 Years In Business / Thank You Customers event.  I am thrilled to have been asked to be a part of this again as an author presenting my recipe book.  Come out for their BBQ.  Goose will also be featuring other local vendors and authors.  I’d enjoy meeting you and talking recipes — Come On Out!
