Half grew up on Whidbey Island
Learned to cook and bake from my parents – my interest and inspiration further grew seeing my grandmother’s flair in the kitchen
Started WIBC in 2014 with encouragement from friends and family owner
Began writing my first baking/cooking book late-2015
Started my next three book projects before publishing the first
Enjoy imagining and developing new baking and cooking recipes
… and to think people say that I don’t get out enough
Been playing Highland bagpipes since 1988 … no, really
I also have a Celtic-rock band named Nae Regrets
And record weird amazing cool stuff under the name Archive Of Resonance
